Allica Bank is a UK business bank built specifically to serve established SMEs, combining relationship-led banking with modern digital tools. As the brand continued to grow, Allica were exploring how their visual identity could evolve to support scale, consistency and wider application across channels. The challenge was not to redefine the brand, but to strengthen and systemise it — creating clearer visual standards and a more flexible framework that could be developed collaboratively across internal teams and external partners.
We supported Allica with the development of a refined brand system and visual guidelines, working alongside their in-house team and third-party partners. Our role focused on visual positioning, colour exploration and the creation of robust brand standards to help the identity work more consistently across touchpoints. As part of this work, we also supported the production of a new set of 3D renders for Allica’s bowler hat graphic, developing the asset further to work across a wider range of digital and campaign applications. The focus throughout was on creating a clear, adaptable system that could support ongoing evolution and internal adoption.
The work helped establish a solid visual foundation at a key moment in Allica’s growth, giving the internal team a clearer system to build from. Since our engagement, the brand has continued to evolve as planned, with further refinements introduced internally, including updates to the logo and broader system. By focusing on structure, standards and flexibility, the project supported a faster and more confident pace of brand development as Allica scaled.
